Seattle Curtis Salgado Benefit Photos - Pt. 1

It looks like the Curtis Salgado benefit, held on May 28th at the Highway 99 Blues Club, was a great success. I know I sure had a blast catching up with old friends, and playing a little bit too. One real highlight for me was playing with my old buddy Leslie "Stardrums" Milton again. What a sparkplug! Let's hope that we start seeing Mr. Milton on the scene more often in the future.

Kudos to all the musicians, fans, and staff at the Highway 99 for making this a memorable event. More details on the outcome of the benefit will appear in John Lee's next "Musings from Mr. Solid" article, which will appear here shortly. In the meantime, here are some photos from the gig. Enjoy!
